Formulation Principles
What a finishing serum should be — and what it should never contain.
No Fragrance
The final layer applied to the skin should be the purest. Bioluminelle contains no fragrance — synthetic or from essential oils — ensuring the finishing seal is calming, not irritating, on skin that has already received three active treatment steps.
No Hyaluronic Acid
Topical HA draws moisture to the skin's surface where it can be lost to evaporation. Bioluminelle's hydration comes from its botanical lipid complex and beta-glucan — supporting a hydrated, comfortable feel that lasts throughout the day.
No Creams or Waxes
Bioluminelle was developed as a departure from traditional moisturizers. No waxes, no heavy occlusives, no thickening agents. The formula is a true dual-phase serum — oil and water in balance — that leaves skin looking luminous and feeling weightless rather than coated.
Hand-Compounded
The cold-pressed oils and botanical extracts in Bioluminelle are sensitive to heat and prolonged storage. Each monthly edition is compounded individually in the OUMERE private laboratory — preserving the freshness and integrity of every oil in the formula.
The Ritual
Shake the bottle side to side to combine the oil and water layers. Dispense a dime-sized amount and press into the skin. Apply in the morning after The Advancement, and in the evening as the final step of the PM protocol. Allow 60 seconds before applying sunscreen.
For dry skin, use a slightly larger amount. For oily or acne-prone skin, start with less and increase as the skin acclimates. Bioluminelle is the finish — the layer that determines how your skin looks and feels for the rest of the day. It should feel like silk, not like product.

About Serum Bioluminelle
OUMERE Serum Bioluminelle is a hand-compounded dual-phase hydro-lipid finishing serum created by cellular biologist Wendy Ouriel in the OUMERE private laboratory in Palm Beach, Florida. It is Step IV of the OUMERE Protocol — the final layer that completes the morning and evening anti-aging skincare system.
The formula features a high-linoleic lipid profile built from cold-pressed watermelon seed oil, grapeseed oil, black seed oil, black currant oil, prickly pear seed oil, camellia japonica seed oil, avocado oil, and guava oil — alongside botanical extracts including goldenseal, broccoli sprout, ginseng, reishi, shiitake, and wasabi. Apply Serum Bioluminelle after UV-R.
Shake container well to thoroughly mix the water and oil phase layers.
Dispense a pea-sized amount onto fingertips and gently massage onto your face, neck, and décolleté.
Allow product to seep into skin for at least one minute before applying additional products. Serum Bioluminelle™ can be applied up to two times per day for maximum results and benefits.
