In-House Organic Green Tea Extract
OUMERE produces its own organic green tea extract in-house, within the laboratory, and compounds it fresh into each monthly edition of The Advancement. Green tea's value to skin lies in its polyphenols — principally EGCG — among the most effective antioxidants available to topical skincare, and among the most unstable. From the moment of extraction they begin to oxidize and lose activity. Producing the extract in-house and compounding it fresh means it enters the formula at peak polyphenol activity rather than after the delay of a supply chain. For a serum built to protect and support the extracellular matrix, an antioxidant that is genuinely active is not an enhancement — it is the requirement.
No Fragrance
Fragrance — synthetic or natural — serves no purpose in a peptide serum. The Advancement contains no scent of any kind, minimizing the risk of irritation and allowing the formula to perform as purely as possible on freshly prepared skin.
No Hyaluronic Acid
Topical HA draws moisture from deeper layers of the skin to the surface, where it can be lost to evaporation. The Advancement's hydration comes from its botanical matrix — aloe concentrate, glycerin, and watermelon extract — providing a comfortable, non-disruptive moisture environment for the peptide complex.
No Silicones
Silicones create an artificial film between the formula and the skin. For a peptide concentrate, full absorption matters. The Advancement uses a water-light base that absorbs cleanly, allowing the peptide complex to sit directly against the skin rather than on top of a synthetic barrier.
Hand-Compounded
Peptide compounds are sensitive to heat and prolonged storage. The Advancement is compounded individually in the OUMERE private laboratory and released in limited monthly editions — preserving the integrity and freshness of every component in the formula.
The Ritual
Apply in the morning after UV-R. A small amount — the formula is concentrated by design. Allow approximately 60 seconds for absorption, then follow with Step IV: Serum Bioluminelle, then sunscreen.
