About two weeks ago I scraped my stomach and left two identical, horizontal 4 inch scrape marks on my skin. Since there were two scrapes that were the same in appearance, length, depth and severity, I used this opportunity to determine if using OUMERE skin care would:
1. Accelerate the wound healing process
2. Reduce inflammation
3. Prevent a scar from forming.
I applied OUMERE Skin Care to the bottom scar (denoted as experimental), which was slightly larger. The top scar was the control, and used as the basis of comparison for the healing process. The experimental question was, would using OUMERE Skin Care reduce the healing time and improve the overall appearance of the wound? Would it prevent a scar from forming?
Materials & Methods for experiment:
For this experiment, I used the following OUMERE products:
4. The Advancement
The control for this experiment was water swabbed onto the top scratch.
OUMERE was applied to the bottom (experimental) scratch.
Day 1
After the scratches occurred, there were two, approximately 4 inch long lacerations on the surface of the skin. Both scratches were similar in severity and were surface-deep only.
Morning routine-
Control: distilled water swabbed onto wound with a Q-tip
Experimental:
Wound swabbed with UV-R, product allowed to sit for 60 seconds.
Wound then swabbed with The Advancement and allowed to sit for 60 seconds.
Wound then swabbed with Serum Bioluminelle.
The above routine was repeated in the evening and then carried out again for 4 more days.
Day 5
On the fifth day, the experimental wound showed considerable healing and less redness than the control wound. The experimental wound appeared to be healing at a significantly faster rate than the control.
The following routine was applied for days 5-10
Control: distilled water swabbed onto wound with a Q-tip
Experimental:
Wound swabbed with UV-R, product allowed to sit for 60 seconds.
Wound swabbed with the Eye Serum, allowed to sit for 60 seconds.
Wound then swabbed with The Advancement and allowed to sit for 60 seconds.
Wound then swabbed with Serum Bioluminelle.
Day 10
By the 10th day the Experimental wound was no longer visible and no scar had formed. The addition of The Eye Serum seemed to accelerate the improvement in the wound. The control wound was still visible, showed sigs of some skin peeling, slight redness and slight skin raising.
Conclusion:
Applying OUMERE Skin Care to a superficial skin wound accelerated the healing time, reduced inflammation to the area and prevented a scar from forming.
