1. Delivery Systems: Why "Rich" Creams Fail
A common misconception is that a "rich" or "thick" cream provides more hydration. Biologically, the opposite is often true. Thick creams rely on long-chain polymers and waxes. Due to their large molecular size, these ingredients cannot penetrate the epidermis.
Instead, they form a film. If you have paid for expensive peptides or growth factors, and they are suspended in this wax matrix, they are trapped. They will wash off down the drain in the evening, never having signaled a single fibroblast.
